Early Dismissal

                                                      

Tomorrow, Friday, December 16th, will be an early dismissal day for students and staff. Student dismissal will begin at 1:45 to kick off our winter break. We hope you have a relaxing and safe holiday and look forward to the adventures the New Year holds. See you on January 3rd!

Christmas Spirit Week

December 12th-16th

Monday- Who-ville (Dress like a Who)

Tuesday- Candy Cane Day (Wear Red and White)

Wednesday- Ugly Sweater Day (Wear an UGLY sweater)

Thursday- 12 Days of Christmas (Dress as one of the 12 Days of Christmas)

Friday- Pajama Day (Wear Your Pajamas)

Volunteers Needed!!

Next Friday, Dec 9th, is Supper with Santa and we need volunteers to make it successful.

There are 2 different shifts: 5:30-6:45 and 6:45-8.

There are 4 areas that require help: Food line, Craft Area, Photos with Santa and Clean-up! Food line volunteers will help hand out pizza slices and drinks. Craft area volunteers will help kids make an ornament and create a baggie of reindeer food. Photo with Santa volunteers will help keep a list of the children getting pictures with Santa and their parent's email addresses. The clean-up crew will help clean up the Cafeteria and Gym after Supper with Santa is over.

Supper with Santa

Join us Friday, December 9th from 6-8pm for a fun evening with Santa! There will be pizza, Christmas crafts, entertainment from our K-2 students, shopping, and even pictures with Santa himself! Tickets can be pre-ordered through the Dixon Road Elementary PTO.

Please come and celebrate the season with us!

PTO Spirit Night is THIS WEEK!

Join us this Thursday, December 1st, from 4:00pm-9:00pm at the Domino's Pizza in the Food Lion Shopping Center on Hwy 210 for our Spirit Night! A portion of ALL proceeds during 4-9pm will go directly to Dixon Road Elementary! Dine in or carry out but ONLY at this specific location.

Square 1 Art Orders

Square 1 Art order forms went home this week! Ms. McIsaac has worked with every class to create beautiful art!! Now you can help her raise funds by ordering your child's art! Please have orders in by November 18th! Thank you!

Change in 4th Grade Awards Time

The Fourth Grade award ceremony will now begin at 3:00 pm. This is a change from the original time of 2:00pm. Please update your calendars.  See you then!
